Rose believes that it is important for everyone to challenge themselves with constantly setting new goals, learning new things, and making a plan. She lives out this philosophy by consistently setting new goals for herself and accomplishing each one. In 2004, Rose trained for and completed the Seattle to Portland Bike ride. In 2005, Rose trained in swimming to compete in triathlons and climbing to top 10 placing in age division. In the year 2006 Rose introduced herself to the sport of Soccer and played in a league. In 2007, Rose chose to participate in a flag football league. And the biggest challenge of them all; this year, 2008, Rose is training to compete at the Washington State Iron Man Bodybuilding, Fitness, and Figure Show in the Figure Division.
Rose’s fitness philosophy emphasizes that everyone has an athlete within and everyone has the ability to attain their goals if they truly put their heart and mind to it.
